The Sun entered Capricorn on Thursday, December 21, 2023, 7:27 p.m PST. We're finally in the fourth astrological quarter, a time to rest and replenish oneself. It's the Winter Solstice, and of course, with Mercury in retrograde, there's already a significant slowness of pace to match the vibe. The key is to get comfortable, and take it notches down even further if there's at all even the slightest inclination or pressure to work hard and make miracles overnight. There is no rush.

In Sagittarius Season, you may have learned so much and are eager to use that knowledge to create new worlds. However, to apply, we first need to integrate. Capricorn Season will remind us that not everything requires a big parade and fanfare to be effective and permanent. During this time, we'll focus on the small things that make a big difference, the simple ways to invite more ease into one's life as you prepare for transition into your new world.

Capricorn is about resourcefulness and practicality. While a limiting belief can prevent you from bending the spoon into the tool you need it to be, you could also just let the spoon be a spoon and go out and find the right tool that works and aligns with you. Eventually, once you've built up enough belief in what you're capable of, then you'll be able to move more than just a spoon. You will move mountains. Still, everyone must start somewhere, so focus on getting started rather than getting done. Instead of focusing on what your rewards will be, look to what you offer and how you help the greater whole. Make this time about refining your contribution.

This will be the assistance you need to be comfortable in receiving, since most of us only feel worthy to receive once we know we've given something of equal value. When you examine how most of us spend our resources, when living in a lack and scarcity mindset, holding onto anything we deem as "extra" becomes a heavy burden. Suddenly, we become desperate to get rid of it, at times excusing it as treating ourselves, or reinforcing to ourselves that we're not deserving by saying things like, "it's not going to stay long anyway" so might as well get what you want out of it now before it goes away. Except this whole time, you're the only one that removes yourself from your right to abundance.

When you give, you receive. This is the Law of Reciprocity. This season, affirm to yourself your worth through trusting yourself to carry through with your responsibilities. And just for clarity for the workaholics, taking care of your responsibilities doesn't mean putting yourself on a military schedule, leaving no room for play. If it's anything we've learned this year, it's that structure stifles creativity. Simply remain aware of what you'd like to give, and show up in that position. Let the Universe take care of all the rest.
