PISCES SZN

The Sun enters Pisces on Saturday, February 18, 2023, 2:34 p.m PST. It's the last season before the astrological new year, before spring begins and life in nature starts to bloom anew. Pisces Season represents our last moments of rest. It's also giving us more opportunity to dream.

Aquarius Season brought clarity to longstanding truths, and now, moving into Pisces Season, it's about integrating this new knowledge into every life choice, every emotion, every relationship. It's about union. It's why Pisces is known for being such a romantic. Being traditionally ruled by Jupiter, Pisces looks at the bigger picture. Instead of seeing one action, they see a series of choices and decisions that led to one specific moment. For Pisces, every action is a reaction, because everything and everyone is connected. This allows Pisces to be more open, understanding, and empathetic.

Deep down, Pisces sees the Truth, which is that we're all striving to feel complete. We all feel this perceived separation yet it seems impossible to fill the gap. Some use their jobs to try to 'complete' them. Most use religion, spirituality, romance, sex. Aquarius wants to know the reasons. The meanings to life. The existence of purpose. But Pisces at their root is focused on addressing the fear of loneliness. We can do all the research in the world but it will always come to a point where there are no more explanations. If Virgo is the only human sign, and Pisces is their sister sign, Pisces is all the abstract things about being human. And the unknown, the unexplainable, these are things we're taught to fear, which only perpetuate this separation feeling, this loneliness.

Pisces Season is about trusting the mysteries. What then can we do to ease the instilled fear and anxieties? How can we embrace the unknown? By shifting perspective and seeing the beauty in it. By letting go of the need for control so that we can drop into our spiritual, eternal nature, and truly feeling into all the parts of us. And you know what we learn there? That we were never alone. That we were always being divinely guided. That everyone has a purpose and by doing what feels right, we help everyone complete what each of us are here to do.

Will we ever understand how this solar system all came together and who invented evolution? Probably not. But while we're here, why not take advantage? Imagine getting the chance to do the thing you've always wanted to, but not going through with it because you don't know who gave you the opportunity. To be real, we all know that if we did have access to every single next step, there'd be no growth, no excitement, no disappointment. And yeah, we could probably do without the latter, but without the highs and the lows, we lose every sense of what it means to be human, and live a human experience.

Life. It's confusing as shit. But it's also enlightening, and beautiful. And when we really look at the best parts of being human, it all ties back to love. We endlessly, desperately, and subconsciously, with every fiber of our being, dedicate our entire lives to love, because we recognize it as what completes us. But what is love? Is it just a feeling? Chemicals wired and crossed? Is it energy? A state of consciousness? Is it God? Or is it just a series of choices to be committed to another's wellbeing? Here's what feels right to me. Love is an endless well. It makes us feel complete because every atom of it is exactly what we are made of. And every time we deepen into that awareness, we remember that we are already complete, and that we'll always have access to everything that we'll ever need. What a beautiful lesson to go into Aries Season with.
