The Sun enters Scorpio on Sunday, October 23, 2022, 3:36 a.m. PDT. It's the real spooky season because it's about release, and most people's worst nightmares include losing everything and having nothing. In truth, we are abundant beings, and will never be without what we need. However, the society we live in has us focused on the tangible, the material, and not on our power to create new pathways and build new realities.

Scorpio Season is a reminder that the amassing of material goods isn't equivalent to abundance. True abundance is within. Still, when bills and debt are knocking at your door, it's hard not to see the former as reality. But how do you rise from your greatest fears? Once you've hit rock bottom, what internal resources do you draw from to start afresh? This is the challenge that Scorpio places in front of us.

It's time to put trust in the intangible. It's the unknown, what you can't see coming, that is there to protect you if you can learn how to surrender to the process. Scorpio's power is feminine, as its focus is on being in a position to receive. Still, Scorpio is calculated. She walks ahead in case there are any lingering things to fight off, and marks the pathways that are safe for everyone else to follow. She's not scared of hard work, sweat, blood, tears. If it's in the process, then it just has to get done. She knows that in the end, the reward far outweighs the danger she was placed in. At the same time, she knows she was never in any real danger to begin with. She was only fighting against herself.

Scorpio Season is about shadow work. Where are we allowing ourselves to be led astray because of our fear to face truths about ourselves? This season doesn't have to be all doom, gloom and misfortunes. If we're courageous enough to peek behind the curtain, and address what we've been hiding from, many can use this transformative energy to birth access to financial freedom, spiritual gifts, and intense love.

We are also in the second eclipse season for the year. The first was earlier in Taurus Season. Those with North Node and South Node in Taurus/Scorpio will have their lives most affected by this Scorpio Season. The area of life that is affected will depend on what houses these nodes fall in. Taking a look at which houses Venus and Mars fall in your natal chart can also help to inform how your life will be affected by this Scorpio Season. Just knowing that Venus and Mars are involved, a huge theme for many this Scorpio Season will include romantic drama. People will be in the mood to fall in love, but they want to fight each other almost just as badly. Coming out of Libra Season, we've hopefully learned the value of honesty, and will put that into practice so that we can use this eclipse energy to build and create instead of destroy.
